Interest : I am interested in offering people a warm, honest and supportive professional relationship that helps them to identify, understand and effectively deal with areas where they feel stuck in their lives.
By "stuck" I mean that you may feel held back or stopped from living your life to the fullest of your potential by any of the following:
*Unhelpful thoughts, emotions and behaviour that keep happening over and over and that you struggle to understand and cope with.
*Traumatic events and memories from your past (including abuse as a child).
*Feeling overwhelmed by life and struggling to cope with it.
*Not feeling able to cope with changes in your life
*Struggling or dissatisfied with relationships in your life
*Feeling depressed, down and lacking energy needed to live your life
*Feeling that your life lacks meaning and purpose
In the short term, I aim to help you to cope and get your life back on track again. Should you decide to work with me over a longer time, we will work together to gain a deeper understanding of where your difficulties come from and how they play out in your life. Most importantly, we will aim to unlock the potential for you to live your life more fully that has been blocked by the difficulties you have been experiencing.

Interest : I enjoy working with adults, couples and teenagers.
It is the journey we take in therapy that excites and intrigues me. It is the privilege of sharing their stories that I appreciate.
I have an interest in personal development, with managing everyday struggles. I further enjoy working with all anxiety disorders, eating disorders, trauma and depression.
Finally, I have a special interest in working with couples. Real sincere love is difficult enough to find...even harder to keep. So many things make a relationship vulnerable to stress...I therefore enjoy the journey, whether it is helping to improve communication, deal with conflict or to improve intimacy struggles.

Interest : Core Process is a contemplative therapeutic practice which includes awareness of the body. It sees no separation between the psychological and the spiritual. I work with adults individually. Seeing a therapist regularly is a brave step to take. It can be invaluable in allowing one to attain more ease in one’s life. It can also be extremely supportive in allowing one to flourish in one’s relationships. I am open to seeing people in particular times of distress but equally open to working with people in times of stability when there can be a really rich enquiry into more subtle life patterns. The work can be transformative.

Interest : My area of practice includes all clinical and counselling work relating to individual adult psychotherapy and trauma intervention. I have a special interest in the difficulties individuals experience within their relationships [Couple and Family Therapy] - whether between intimate partners, parents and children, siblings or friends. I believe that therapy is at its core a dialogue between the therapist and client(s). The origins of the word dialogue can be extracted from the Greek "dia" and "logos" which literal translation means “through meaning." Thus, the therapeutic process represents a dialogue during which one does not necessarily try to convince the other of their points of view, but rather create a learning-collaboration through which understanding and insight is sought. As such, dialogue is about creating a fuller picture of reality rather than breaking it down into fragments or parts. Accordingly, the ethos of dialogue represents an intergraded worldview in order to assist clients in reaching their full potential.
Scope of practice – Psychotherapy/ Counselling I provide assistance in the management and resolution of the following concerns:
Adults Ø Adjustment Disorders Ø Depressed Mood Ø Depression Ø Anger Management Ø Anxiety Disorder Ø Divorce Adjustment Ø Eating Disorders Obesity, Anorexia and Bulimia Nervosa Ø Gay and Lesbian Adjustment Ø Health and Chronic Illness Ø Relationship Problems Ø Trauma such as, but not limited to, Acute Stress Disorder; Post Traumatic Stress Disorder
Couple Ø Divorce and Separation Ø Family Conflict Ø Marital Conflict Ø Relationship Conflict Ø Sexuality Ø Violence
Family Ø Divorce and Separation Ø Family Conflict Ø Marital and Couples Conflict Ø Parenting Difficulties Ø Sibling Rivalry and Conflict Ø Teen-Parent Conflict Ø Violence
