I have recently finished my honours in psychology, and would love to specialize in psychometric testing, however i do understand that i need to complete an internship, im findng it rather hard getting a opprtunity to do this, it seems difficult to get into any company does anyone have any advice,

In order to do an internship you would need to qualify to do a BPsych equivalency with an accredited university/ college.

In Gauteng, Midrand Graduate Institute and Unisa were doing the program; UNISA is no longer doing it next year (2013) and MGI is terminating their program in 2015. MGI is also a private tertiary institution which means they charge more.

Internships need to be supervised and finalised by academic institutions because they fill in section C of Form 225 that is sent to the HPCSA who will then allow you to sit for the board exam.
